They stay up easy because of there size, weight and the material they are covered in. These heavy hoops have no added weight so they are safe to use and come in varying weights and diameters. The heavy is for adult only use and focuses on strength in ab, waist and upper hip area only. As a fitness expert. this is as heavy as I would recommend you to use.  You will get get a cardio workout with this also. Sometimes it is easier for larger people to keep up.  You don't necessarily need to go heavier to get a better workout.  The medium hoop is what I recommend for adults to start with.  It is versatile and can be used all over. It is a great size for cardio and dance.  The light is for children and also for  adults who prefer a lighter touch and faster moving hoop.

HEAVY        ~38-40 in diameter     ~ 2.5 lbs     adult only (18+) for strength

CLASSES

HOOLALA HOOP CLASSES with creator and Certified Trainer Pamela Randolph are also happening!  Pamela is based out of the Santa Monica and Los Angeles area. With this super fun workout you get amazing cardio which allows you to reach your optimal fitness level by strengthening and stabilizing your core. Science proves nothing burns more calories than continual abdominal contractions! It's certainly a lot more fun than doing crunches and glut presses for an hour! Pamela will make you comfortable and break down the movement so it easier to accomplish. Her expert teaching skills combined with her deep passion for hooping and fitness will keep you motivated and moving with a big smile on your face! Her passion comes from the fact that she has rehabilitated her low back after a car accident and personally lost several inches with one of her hoops. She also went from being the person at the back of the ab class to being the instructor in front of it teaching others. Her cardio endurance sky rocketed she began to teach five hours of conditioning and hoop classes back to back. As learn to exercise and dance the fitness hula hoops, you will feel yourself transform quickly into a strong, healthy, sexy person. You have never had so much fun getting fit!
